Metamart is an experiment in building OpenSource NFT storefronts. We have built a fully open source NFT storefront using the Rarible Protocol. It is free to deploy, a fully functional marketplace, and we even added a deploy button that will allow you to deploy in a couple minutes.
Our intention is to establish Metamart "franchises". These "franchises" are forks of the main Metamart codebase used as autonomous marketplaces for NFT collections.
Each franchise is charged a 1% fee on all transactions. This fee goes to the Metamart DAO treasury and is used for upkeep and upgrades to the repository. Alternatively, anybody is free to fork our codebase and remove the 1% fee but it will be up to them to manage development of the site.
There are currently two tiers for franchisees. Qualification for tiers is based on accrued revenue or potential for revenue.
All marketplaces with the fee turned on can use a Metamart subdomain, receive basic developer support, and receive basic marketing support.
All marketplaces that have generated at least ___ for the treasury or have generated ____ in sales previously have access to our design and development teams for a redesign of their storefront. They also will appear regularly in our promotional and marketing campaigns. We will also help to host a separate domain. Additionally, they will receive a Metamart membership NFT that gives them voting rights.
Revenue from "franchises" is collected in the Metamart DAO treasury. The treasury is controlled by holders of our Metamart membership card NFT.

Metamart encourages the ongoing development of new versions and features of the Metamart marketplace. We do this by funding bounties. Bounty requests and funding are determined by the DAO.
